2009

Built on a greenfield site, the BOMMA glassworks was set up in response to the declining Czech glassmaking industry – and in spite of the financial crisis in 2009. BOMMA specialises in designer drinks glasses and other glassware; production involves sophisticated machine cutting, using robotic tools that the company has developed.

The project also included the creation of a BM logotype, using several lines and taken to a level of abstraction at the limit of legibility. The plain Atlas typeface and contrasting red and black/anthracite colours complement the visual system.
